Privacy Policy
Effective October 28, 2026
This policy explains what information Diagonali (the “app”), made by Kai-Wen Chen (“we”), and its advertising partner collect, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Nothing. The game runs entirely on your device. We have no accounts, no servers and no analytics, and we never see your puzzles, moves or settings.
Advertising
The app shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the screen, and an optional video ad you can choose to watch to have a puzzle solved. To show and measure these ads, Google’s software in the app may collect:
- device identifiers, including Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking;
- your approximate location derived from your IP address;
- information about the ads you see and tap;
- diagnostic information such as crash and performance data.
Google uses this information as described in its Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your choices
- Tracking. The first time you open the app, iOS asks whether Diagonali may track you. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the advertising identifier is not shared and you see ads that are not personalised. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the UK), you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
- Ad personalisation. You can manage how Google personalises ads at My Ad Center.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
